Week 7 - VJing and Projection Mapping Workshop

Workshop with Mike Bridgeman

Opportunity to add onto the CoCA "pavillion" at LUX.

Forgot to capture photos/videos of the workshop.

Mike gave us an intro to what VJing is, what type of works he as done and where, what is expected from a VJ artist, What they can earn.

VJing is a broad designation for real-time visual performance. Characteristics of VJing are the creation or manipulation of imagery in real-time through technological mediation and for an audience, in synchronization to music. VJing often takes place at events such as concerts, nightclubs, music festivals and sometimes in combination with other performative arts.

Photos/videos below: Mike showing us a demonstration of how video mapping is done on objects.

One the video mapping process is done, the projection on an object looks clean and interesting to look it.
